Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Chanel & Johnny Reunite, Want to Adopt Sophia & Tate’s Baby?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has been worried that Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) might never forgive him for his Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) mess. However, Johnny really just needs to be patient and give Chanel a little more time to come around.
DOOL fans can indeed expect Chanel to open her heart to Johnny again in the coming Days episodes. That’ll lead to Johnny and Chanel getting their future together back on track.
Once Chanel and Johnny’s marriage is solid again, they’ll start talking about planning their family. Chanel will admit she still really wants a baby, so Johnny will quickly get on board.
Of course, that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy for Chanel to conceive this time around.
There could be unanticipated issues related to Chanel’s previous miscarriage or some other medical problems on the horizon.
That could open the door to Chanel and Johnny considering adoption just in time for their storyline to collide with a different one.
Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) suggested to Tate Black (Leo Howard) that they should move forward with the adoption arrangements despite her mom’s outbursts.
Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) won’t have a say in the matter once the baby’s born anyway since Sophia will be 18 by then.
Even so, Tate’s worried about the backlash for Sophia, so they’ve been trying to brainstorm ways to get Amy’s approval and minimize the fallout.
Tate suggested they could find a religious couple looking to adopt and let Amy get to know them.
That way, maybe Amy wouldn’t be so reluctant over the idea of handing the baby off to strangers.
Chanel and Johnny obviously aren’t very religious, but it’s easy to imagine them trying to pose as a religious couple with disastrous results.
Amy might find out Johnny’s last name and blow her top at the thought of a devious DiMera raising her grandchild.
Days fans can’t forget that Johnny was possessed, so that might come up and add to Amy’s freak-out!
Despite Amy’s lack of approval, Sophia might seriously consider Chanel and Johnny as adoptive parents for this baby.
That said, Sophia might end up keeping the kid to raise herself – though our Days predictions suggest a paternity twist may ultimately push Tate out of the picture.
