Young & Restless’ Beth Maitland Reacts to a Fan’s Request: ‘I’m Telling You Right Now… I’m *Not*… ”

There were many times in Traci’s younger years, as well as a few in later ones, when she could have used some extra support. However, as The Young and the Restless viewers know, when someone is experiencing a crisis, whether it be a family member or a friend, Traci is always there to pick them up with her wise wisdom and unwavering emotional support.

We’ve seen this firsthand as of late as her sister Ashley continues to fight the demons and alter egos inside her head, and even when one of them lashed out at Traci, well, she knew her sister was not at fault and has vowed to be there for her during this frightening time in her life.

Just yesterday, in the Wednesday, April 17, episode, Traci once again comforted Ashley, who was scared and apologetic for flying off the handle on her sister. However, Traci assured Ashley that it hadn’t been her fault when her dominate alter lashed out at her and accused the family of holding her hostage in their home — and demanded Traci get their brothers to back off.

Traci’s actions haven’t gone unnoticed and one fan, Miss Abby, took to social media with a request of her own and stated, “Can we all have Traci take turns coming to our homes for a day?”

Really, who wouldn’t want a sister and/or friend Like Traci around?

Miss Abby’s statement caught the eye of Beth Maitland, who plays Ashley’s younger sister, and the actress shared a funny reply. “I’m telling you right now,” Maitland joked. “I’m not vacuuming!”

Fans got a kick out of her response and Miss Abby assured, “Oh no! You will be seated and I’ll serve you tea, or we can have cocktails and laugh while you offer your sweet reassurance that everything will be OK! Love you for playing along here.”

How cute was that?! Maitland can joke all she wants but if it came down to it, we can bet that Traci would vacuum for someone if that was needed too — so, move over Esther!
