It’s no secret that Sister Wives fans generally don’t like Kody and Robyn Brown. But did they really hire a PR team to help fix their poor public image?
“Someone mentioned that Kody has a PR person/group now per Mykelti. If that is true, it is obvious Kody will be trained on behavior and what to say to rehab his image,” a Redditor posted online this week. “Robyn is obviously using the same PR person. Is this why: Robyn is all of a sudden being Kody- and self-labeled as shy? Robyn tries to shut Kody up with not-so-cute ways (gross kissing/manhandling)? Kody seems almost gracious in his well wishes for Christine?”
Other Reddit users agreed with the OP. Either way, it doesn’t seem like Sister Wives viewers plan on giving Kody and Robyn another chance.
“I think their PR people thought that last kiss with the shoo away gesture was going to be cute,” another Redditor replied. “And it probably would have been with professional actors. But Moody and Sobs are not good at this sort of “adorable” interaction. Their PR people don’t have much to work with.”
“Some people can do what they’re told to do, but still f*** it up. I’d call it incompetence compliance,” another added.
Fans seem largely disinterested in the couple these days
Right now, most Sister Wives fans are heavily invested in the other wives’ new relationships. Christine just remarried and Meri also revealed that she has a new man in her life.
It sort of seems like Kody and Robyn are doing everything in their power to draw more positive attention to themselves.
