Parker Schnabel Confesses: Why Is The Gold Rush Star Always Lonely Despite His Success and Wealth? Love Mystery Revealed!
Parker Schnabel is a Gold Rush star who still has some pretty big goals. One of them is to have a family. Although he may have turned 30 over the summer, he is nowhere closer to achieving that goal. Why is it so hard for the single millionaire Discovery star to get a girlfriend?
Gold Rush Season 15 has just premiered on Discovery. This season, Parker Schnabel and his crew stand to mine over eight figures in gold this season. While this sort of wealth is eye-watering, it doesn’t mean that it is easy for Parker to have a girlfriend.
Recently, the long-time gold miner spoke to People Magazine as to why it is so difficult to date. Firstly, it is hard for him to talk about his work, but he does find it pretty funny. “I try to explain it in a way that doesn’t sound like Mad Max.” He continues, “It’s hard to explain that without it sounding like some dystopian insane world. I’m in the woods and you’re living in a f–––ing bunker washing rocks, looking for little shiny rocks.”
Somehow he did manage to date Ashley Youle, who joined the Discovery series for Gold Rush Season 7. She worked the gold room with Chris Doumitt.
Gold Rush Star Wants A Family ‘Someday’
Although Parker Schnabel finds it hard to explain his gold mining job to prospective dates, he does want a family “someday.” Moreover, he wants a personal life. However, he thinks that children will not happen until after Discovery shuts down the gold mining series.
I do hope to have a family and a life outside of TV eventually. I do have a life outside of TV, but the show will end completely I think before I have kids, I would suspect.
Meanwhile, the workaholic Gold Rush star has already decided that he is not going to push his children into gold mining. He shares that his father had his own construction business but never expected Parker to follow in his footsteps. Of course, Parker learned how to gold mine from the best, his grandfather John Schnabel, his father’s father.
