Cameron’s home for the holidays on General Hospital (Which we knew about, even if mom Liz didn’t!) but he’s not alone. He’s come back with his girlfriend, who he met in California, Gretchen Ross! Mom, we’re guessing, couldn’t be happier, especially since, as she explained to Lucky, a big part of Cam’s moving out to California had to do with Josslyn breaking his heart when she dumped him for Dex.
Not only has his heart healed, he’s very clearly found happiness once again! But there’s some bad news along with the good, in that Cam won’t be sticking around for Christmas itself, as he and Gretchen are heading to Key West for Christmas with her family. You can catch up on all that happened in the episode with Wednesday’s recap here.
Gretchen is played by daytime newbie Indi Star, who, much like William Lipton, is a musician in addition to being an actor! She’s popped up in a number of roles over the years like Netflix’s hit series, Dead to Me, and the superhero film The Hyperion, where she worked with The Princess Bride‘s Wesley himself, Cary Elwes.
With Cameron back, we’re guessing he’s the person Josslyn is surprised to spot in this week’s General Hospital preview. And while it might be nice to see a familiar face, we have a feeling it’ll sting a bit if Joss meets Gretchen so soon after losing her own love. Still, we’re happy to see Cameron happy, and hopefully this won’t be the last we’ll see of these two together.
