Jason Sends Diane to Make [Spoiler] an Offer — and Lucy Tanks on a Home & Heart Segment

In Drew’s office, after Nina reveals Carly spent the night with Cates, Michael defends his mother saying Nina doesn’t know what his mom was doing, and Curtis is sure she wouldn’t cheat on Drew. Drew says they broke up, so it wouldn’t be cheating. Michael states this is none of Nina’s business. Nina thinks it is odd that Carly would hook up with a federal agent two seconds after dumping Drew. Michaels leaves, and Nina says what happened wasn’t behind a closed door, the door was wide open which is when she caught them. Curtis says they are adults and this is their business. Nina still thinks it must hurt knowing Carly got over Drew so quickly.

Curtis scolds Nina. She says she’s sorry, but maybe he doesn’t know Drew as well as he thinks. She says she loves him and leaves. Curtis tells Drew that was uncalled for on Nina’s part, but he didn’t know he and Carly broke up and asks what’s going on. Drew explains they were doing okay until Jason came back.

Drew says he loves Carly, and he always will, but he knows she’ll always put Jason first, which is why he needed to end things. Drew feels he did them both a favor and this is the right thing for them both. He wants a relationship like Curtis and Portia have, reliable and solid. He thanks Curtis for coming in today and will be in touch to talk to him more concerning the wellness business. Curtis still can’t believe Nina did that to him and feels she’s still hurting over Sonny, so go easy on her. Drew explains that he and Nina have reached a new understanding.

Alexis meets Gregory for a meal at The Metro Court. She says she misses him and The Invader hasn’t been the same without him. He misses her and the work, but it was his time to step away. She also lets him know that she’s sorry but she can’t be his plus one for his wedding. She explains there is a chance she may be getting her license back. She says her appeal is at the same time as the wedding, but he’s happy for her. She admits she wants this so much, and it’s giving her anxiety. He asks if she believes she can still be a good lawyer, and Alexis does. She still has a passion for it and finds getting justice satisfying. He hopes he gets the chance to see her back in action. She takes his hand and hopes he does too, but most of these appeals are denied. He says he has faith enough for both of them.

Alexis reveals that Molly’s worried if the appeal is rejected that she’ll start drinking again. She worries about getting her hopes up, and she’s worked a lot for her sobriety, so she wonders if this is a risk she can afford. He says at the end of your life, the regrets you have the most are on the chances you didn’t take, not your failures. She remembers their thrilling parachute jump, so like it, she has to try.

Carly meets with Michael in the bar, having got a text from him. She asks how he knew she was here. He tells her about Nina’s big revelation in Drew’s office, and Carly can’t believe her nerve. Carly explains what happened, and Michael believes his mom. However, he reminds her that Cates is the guy who wants to bust Jason. Carly knows Cates won’t find anything against Jason, and there is nothing in that warehouse except coffee. She says Sonny isn’t going to bring Jason back into his business at this point.

Nina heads to the Crimson office and is given her messages by her new assistant. One is from Olivia complaining about the new bathroom color she chose, and she tells her assistant if Drew calls not to put him through.

Jason meets with Diane at the warehouse, and she has gotten some of his accounts reinstated already. He asks if he has enough money to buy Carly’s half of The Metro Court. She warns him Nina won’t sell, and that his real obstacle will be Carly. She says Olivia, Sonny and Michael have all offered to help her, even Nina offered it back, but she wants to do it herself. Jason says he’ll work it out with Carly, she needs to make Nina an offer.

Diane asks about finding a new place for him to live, but Jason likes where he is. She inquires if he signed the papers her assistant dropped off, but he didn’t get them. Suddenly, Carly arrives with the papers Diane’s assistant dropped off with her the night before. Diane tells him to start signing, and she’ll pick them up soon. Diane takes off, and Carly asks if he’s okay. He is and thanks her for bringing the papers by.

Carly admits the papers were an excuse to see him, and he asks if something happened. She admits she did something he won’t like… She fills him in on what happened with Cates, and she doesn’t think this was a mugging but a message from Sonny. She explains that when she told Sonny about Cates pumping her for information, he was furious. She says Sonny hates him because of the history they have with Karen. Sonny also feels Cates abandoned Stone. Jason says assaulting an FBI agent is a federal crime. Carly says Sonny knows it but just doesn’t care.

Carly goes on to say Nina caught her in Cates’ room, so it’s only a matter of time before she tells the whole world, including Sonny.

Back at Crimson, Nina is scolding the kitchen staff over the phone for dropping off room service orders and letting them go cold. Diane arrives, barges in, and tells her Jason Morgan would like to buy her half of the Metro Court at a markup of three percent over its value. Nina assumes this is about Carly, and wonders what Jason would think about whose bed she was in last night. Diane is interested but isn’t. She tells Nina that running two businesses must be hard, and she can’t believe Nina is really interested in the mundane daily squabbles of staff and upset guests. Nina counters her and says fifteen percent above market value, and Diane rebuttals with four. Nina says nine, and Diane informs her she’ll take the offer to Jason. Nina points out she hasn’t made up her mind to sell, so Diane says this offer won’t last. Nina states if Jason wants The Metro Court, he can wait for it.

At the Home & Heart set, Lucy and Maxie run into Haviland. Haviland hears there is no Sasha anymore, but she knows Blaze from her granddaughter and is eager to meet her. Maxie explains Blaze isn’t the spokesmodel today, and Lucy reveals she’s doing the selling. Haviland has to check with the producer and walks off.

Lucy asks why Maxie isn’t backing her with Haviland and accuses her of wanting to hog the spotlight for herself. Maxie says she wants Sasha in the spotlight, the public knows and loves her. Maxie blames Lucy for driving Sasha away and leaving them in a mess. She says Sasha wasn’t just beautiful, she was inspirational given what she survived, and you can’t buy that narrative. Lucy thinks she’s being a little power-hungry here. Maxie reminds her they are equal partners. Lucy thinks instead of working against Tracy, that her friendship with Brook Lynn is clouding her judgment. They continue to argue, and Maxie tells Lucy that her love affair with herself is the real problem.

Lucy explains she is just passionate about her company, and it’s the most important thing in her life right now. Maxie loves Deception too, and Lucy has nothing but love and respect for her. However Lucy feels her friendship with Brook Lynn sets her on edge, and she can’t let Tracy ruin what they built. Maxie says they built this company together, and if they don’t get on the same page, they’ll destroy Deception and won’t have to worry about Tracy doing it.

Haviland returns and explains her producer agrees, Lucy isn’t a good choice, and their segment is canceled. Lucy says she can’t just cancel them, but Haviland can’t go on live TV with an amateur. Lucy points out she hosted the Nurses’ Ball for years. Haviland says Sasha was a sure thing, but Lucy is another story. Maxie says Deception is their highest earner, their segments always sell out and so will this one.

Haviland and Lucy go on camera, and Lucy sells their new line of face cream. Lucy starts going off-topic about how important she is, and all the businesses she’s managed. She gets a look from Maxie. Lucy almost gets back on track, saying those at home probably know her best for hosting The Nurses Ball, though she didn’t last year as she was in protective custody. Maxie realizes how bad it’s going.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy finds Brook Lynn on the phone ordering a hybrid pick-up. Tracy hopes they aren’t eschewing a limo ride to the wedding for a 4×4. Brook Lynn tells her about their new honeymoon, which Chase is paying for by selling his truck. Tracy calls it a sweet gesture. Brook Lynn says she’s going to surprise him with a new truck as a wedding gift. Tracy warns her not to do this, not to start her marriage disrespecting her husband. Brook Lynn feels they can both afford the honeymoon and truck, but Tracy points out that Brook Lynn can afford both. Brook Lynn insists they share everything, but Tracy thinks this is overly optimistic of her. Tracy knows from experience that having more money than a spouse can put stress on a marriage. She feels knowing Chase’s father, that he was brought up to be the breadwinner. Brook Lynn calls that old school, but Tracy points out Chase is very traditional and it’s part of his charm.

Brook Lynn realizes the mistake she made, and Tracy says buying him a new truck would devalue his loving gesture. Brook Lynn feels sad that he has to give up anything for her. Tracy admits the family money has given her a lot of advantages, but also brought a lot of pain. Brook Lynn thinks about all the failed relationships in their family history, and worries what if their marriage is doomed. Tracy feels as long as they are honest about their differences and the money that they’ll be okay, and Chase loves her. Brook Lynn is sorry about the frogs her grandmother had to kiss over the years. Tracy says in the end he got her prince in Luke. She was lucky, and so is Brook Lynn. Brook Lynn thanks her granny for the talk and believes she and Chase will make it. Tracy says she’s always on her side no matter what. Tracy heads down to the stables to take a ride.

Cody finds Sasha working with the horses, and she fills him in on the job search, which hasn’t been going well. She says most of the employers only care about her looks and her being the face of something, and she’s not going there again. Cody says as great as it has been, she can’t keep hanging out here with him and the horses. She knows as she is going to run out of savings sooner than she thought.

Cody bets Lucy and Maxie are kicking themselves for letting her walk away. Sasha wonders if she was crazy to leave Deception. He asks if she’s considering going back. She isn’t, and that question made her stomach drop, so she has no regrets. Cody asks Sasha to let him know when she does figure out what she wants to do.

On the next General Hospital: On set, Brook Lynn tells Maxie that she may have one more Hail Mary. In the stables, Tracy warns Cody if there is a problem then he’ll be out on his butt. Lois lets Gregory know he came to the right person. A shocked Anna asks (John) “My god what happened to you?” Ava tells Nina, “It’s progress, I’m sure of it.” Jason lets Carly know that Sonny won’t see it that way.
