Jill Duggar Excluded from Another Family Matter — What’s the Secret Behind This Sudden Decision?
It appears as if things are still tense between Jill Duggar and her reality TV show family.
The Duggar Family Background
For those who haven’t always followed the Duggar family, here’s a little recap on their history. The family made their debut on television back in 2008. Fans have watched the Duggar family grow over the last decade.
Over the years, the family has also faced their share of controversies. Notably, there has been the question of whether Jill Duggar still gets along with her parents.
Jill and her sister Jessa used to be the stars of Counting On.
TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting following the abuse allegations against Josh Duggar. In 2015, the network took a new spin on the family with a series called Counting On.
When the series kicked off it only followed the married life of Jessa and Jill. Both had been married since a year prior. They were starting families and had their own family stories to tell.
As the years continued to progress, more Duggars grew up, got married, and had children. So, the series quickly grew into something that had a lot of cast members. Today, Michelle and Jim Bob are even members of the cast. The cast also includes Duggars that still live at home.
In 2017, however, Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard walked away from the show. There were a lot of theories on why this happened. Many also suspected the exit caused tension between Jill and her family.
As we previously reported, Jill Duggar cleared the air on Instagram recently regarding why she had her family decided to leave the show. To fans surprise, there wasn’t any drama attached to the exit. In fact, Jill explained she and her family just became overwhelmed with the demands of the show and needed to step back because of that. Unfortunately, Jill did confirm she and little family do not have plans to return to the show anytime soon.
Jill and Derick did not attend the recent Duggar family night.
According to Cheatsheet, many members of the Duggar family documented a family night that took place recently. It was hosted by Joy Duggar and Austin Forsyth. Jessa and Ben brought their children. Jana even shared a photo on Instagram.
At the time the family night took place, Jill and her husband were at a Christmas show at their church. It, however, is unclear if it was a scheduling conflict or if they were excluded from the family night gathering.
Jill and her little family, however, looked to be having a great time at the Christmas show based on their own Instagram pictures.
