Counting On alum Jinger Duggar Vuolo opens up about the “burdens” of living with a large family in a new podcast. The 30-year-old mom has participated in interviews and conferences over the past few months. She likes to talk about her disentanglement from the questionable teachings of the IBLP. Counting On: Jinger Duggar Shares Her Story At A Women’s Conference
One of the latest updates from Jinger was her participation at a women’s conference. The Counting On alum talked about her decision to step away from the IBLP in front of hundreds of people. She also expressed her happiness at meeting others who had the same struggles. “The highlight for me was meeting so many precious people and getting to hear their stories of how they came out of legalism into freedom in Christ!” she said.
Aside from conferences, Jinger has also participated in podcasts. The former Counting On star appeared in the latest episode of the Grace & Truth with Owen Strachan podcast, where she talked about what it’s like to live with a huge family. According to Jinger Duggar Vuolo, she cared for some of her siblings and helped them do music and school.
This resulted in her missing many opportunities in life. “And it’s part of growing up in a large family,” she added. However, Jinger clarified that she has no “anger or bitterness,” though she believes that her life would’ve looked differently if she hadn’t been raised in such a setting.

Jinger also talked about her parents’ ability to raise 19 children. “They did a great job, like, investing in each one of us,” the Counting On alum said after acknowledging the comments that mothers in the IBLP are considered “birthing machines.”
Jinger Duggar Vuolo is one of the few children of Jim Bob and Michelle who step away from their beliefs. But despite her decision, she’s still loved by many of her family members, including her parents. She has also expressed her desire to pursue higher education in one of her Q&As in April after being raised in a homeschool program.
