The Duggar Family’s Bizarre Sleeping Arrangements: Shocking Revelation Leaves Everyone Stunned!
Before the 19 Kids and Counting Duggar family had their “big house” in Arkansas, the supersized family shared a modest four-bedroom, two-bathroom home with more people than beds, according to multiple sources. Apparently, things were so tight that matriarch Michelle Duggar was forced to sleep in a recliner most nights while her husband slept in another room with their children. And that might be the least disturbing part of the way the family had to live during that time.
Without a Crystal Ball claims the Duggars were known for their cramped quarters.
YouTuber Katie Joy made some shocking accusations about the Duggar family’s sleeping arrangements, posting information that she said she’d heard from three sources who knew the reality TV family way back when.
“Michelle was given no breaks between pregnancies by her husband and she suffered with horrible back pain,” Kate wrote in her lengthy Instagram caption. “According to multiple friends, her back problems were so severe that she couldn’t sleep in a bed and instead opted for a recliner in her living room.”
Ouch!
Daughter Jana slept in the living room with her mom while her sisters all bunked together in another room.
Katie went on to describe how the other four girls slept together in one room, while patriarch Jim Bob and his sons slept together in another. “Jana was never an option for Josh [to molest] because she was not in the same room with her sisters,” her post continued.
“During this same time period, Clark Wilson moved into the house with his eight kids and they all lived in the other bedroom,” Katie wrote, adding that in all, 22 people were forced to cram into a 2,000-square-foot house during this time.
Obviously, this living situation would not be ideal for any family of that size.
Things must have gotten pretty ripe in the Duggar house during that time.
“Michelle was in so much pain that she barely functioned and relied on her daughters to do everything for her. Jana was in charge of everything as the oldest girl.”
People thought it was odd that Jim Bob and Michelle didn’t share a room.
Apparently, many people were surprised to learn that the Duggar parents slept separately (especially when you consider how many children they managed to conceive throughout the years).
The picture that Katie has painted is starkly different from the one fans saw on the Duggars’ TLC show.
We imagine we’ll hear a lot more about growing up Duggar in the near future.
