Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a new wrinkle could develop when it comes to EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) hostage situation. EJ stashed Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) in the DiMera tunnels, but someone surprising could come along and find him soon enough.
DOOL fans can expect Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) to get busted misbehaving again, so Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will scold her daughter.
Based on the latest Days spoilers, it looks like Rachel will go missing soon after and send Kristen into total panic mode.
Of course, this may just be Rachel’s way of avoiding punishment and perhaps bringing Kristen together with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Rachel may assume Brady and Kristen will join forces to search for her, so she might make a prediction about their romantic reunion resulting from their team effort.
Whatever the case, Rachel will need somewhere to hide out if she’s going to fake her own kidnapping and disappear for a while.
It’s easy to see Rachel heading down to the DiMera secret room and crossing paths with captive Rafe there.
Days spoilers say Rachel will have a weird encounter during the week of January 20-24, so that fits with this theory.
It would definitely be weird for Rachel to find Rafe tied up in the DiMera cellar, so she may grill him.
Rafe may blame EJ for his predicament, but will Rachel be willing to help?
Rachel is smart enough to know that Uncle EJ could go to prison for this, so she may not be keen on sending him to the slammer.
Plus, Days spoilers suggest Rachel won’t want to ruin her own disappearance plot, so she may insist on staying tight-lipped.
Even if Rachel is found, she might cover for EJ and blackmail him into a mutually beneficial arrangement.
EJ could vow to talk Kristen out of punishing Rachel for her kidnapping charade and throw in some toys, concert tickets or whatever else his niece demands.
Rachel likes Uncle EJ and doesn’t mind his devious side, so she could certainly be persuaded.
That said, it’s hard for kids to keep long-term secrets, so Rachel’s knowledge could become a bigger problem for EJ – especially if she sees “Rafe” aka Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) walking around free and starts asking more questions.
