Days of Our Lives Next 2 Weeks: Chanel Blasts Johnny, Holly Makes a Mess, Rafe’s Doppelganger, Ava’s Job for Steve

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, December 23 to January 3, reveal that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) may realize she’s got a bigger threat than Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) on her hands. Someone else might be watching Ava and could be the person behind the mysterious text she received.

After Ava updates Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) on the threat during the week of December 23-27, she’ll ultimately turn to Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) for assistance.

Ava may convince Steve to look into this for her, so we’ll see if he can nail down who’s spying on Ava and why.

Over with Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall), she’ll object when Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) drags her to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) for a confrontation.

Leo will interrogate Rafe’s top suspect in the Lady Whistleblower imposter investigation, but Hattie will swear she’s not to blame.

Since Hattie is likely innocent when it comes to the poisoned cupcakes as well, Rafe and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will still have some work to do on solving those cases.

Other Days spoilers say EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerreigel) will pressure Kristen to fire Belle Black (Martha Madison), but Kristen may argue that she’s come to rely on Belle’s DiMera consulting work.

Perhaps Kristen will also pick up on the fact that EJ is still attracted to Belle and contend that he should try another angle to get her attention.

Getting Belle fired isn’t the way to go, but Kristen may refuse to listen to EJ anyway.

Over with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), she’ll have some concerns about Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).

Since Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will be interested in dating Stephanie again, Kayla may worry that her daughter’s on the rebound.

Stephanie’s engagement to Philip didn’t work out before, so Kayla may not have high hopes when it comes to their next round of romantic involvement.

It’s clear that Stephanie isn’t over Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), so Philip could get his heart broken if he’s not careful.

Some celebrations are also on the way, so look for some sweet moments as Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), Abe Carver (James Reynolds), Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) celebrate Christmas along with the twins’ birthday.

When it’s time for the annual hanging of the Horton ornaments, Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) will be included.

Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will continue to bond with Doug and downplay the idea that he might’ve stolen the necklace.

Days spoilers say Leo will come through for Doug by fencing the necklace as planned, but something tells us this could come back to bite both of them sooner or later!

As for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), he’ll have a wonderful holiday with Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) and Victoria Kiriakis (Islay and Paisley Kerr).

Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will even forgive Xander for his past mistakes, so they’ll hug it out and get their friendship back on track.

Over with Rafe and Jada, they’ll decide on a wedding date, but Days spoilers indicate that trouble is looming ahead of their marriage ceremony.

At the pub, Tate Black (Leo Howard) will shock Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) with some birthday décor and a love declaration.

Holly will feel closer to Tate than ever before, but problems are about to erupt.

That’s because Holly will wreck Tate and Sophia Choi’s (Madelyn Kientz) plan in some way.

Tate was hoping to discreetly whisk Sophia out of state for an abortion, but Holly will somehow manage to blow this.

Could Holly catch Tate or Sophia in a lie about their whereabouts? Will Holly overhear something about Sophia’s pregnancy and cause a confrontation?

Whatever the case, Sophia may not be able to keep her baby news under wraps for much longer.

Shi Ne Nielson is playing Sophia’s mother, Amy Choi, so look for her to make her debut for some drama during the week of December 30-January 3.

Meanwhile, Rafe will have a showdown with a familiar foe. Rafe’s old doppelganger, Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering), will get back in the mix and seems poised to take over his lookalike’s life again.

EJ should get tangled up in the Arnold chaos, but he’ll also be on the receiving end of a surprise from Belle.

That could get the ball rolling on the sizzling fling that EJ and Belle are about to restart!

Speaking of sizzling, DOOL spoilers say JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will decide to do some of that, too.

Gabi will ask JJ if he’d like to spend the night, so he’ll accept that invitation and hit the sheets with her.

Elsewhere, Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will launch a confrontation with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), so he may fear she’s figured out the truth about his betrayal with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins).

However, we’d say this involves another lie instead. Johnny claimed he had no idea Joy was going to leave town, but Chanel may find out that EJ threw money at Joy trying to get rid of her.

When it becomes apparent that Johnny knew about that, it could leave him with another crisis to resolve.

Chanel may slam Johnny for lying and ask too many questions about why EJ wanted Joy to leave so badly.

Johnny will end up leaning on Abe Carver for support once he has another blowup with Chanel, so stay tuned to hear Abe’s advice.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll also be some eventful New Year’s Eve parties, so stick with us for more predictions on all the mayhem that’s brewing.
