Robert Scott Wilson is one of the most popular stars of Days of Our Lives. The actor first debuted as villain Clyde Weston’s son – Ben Weston. Ben himself had a sinister stretch on the soap. However, he redeemed himself and sailed into the sunset with the love of his life – Ciara. We haven’t really seen him in Salem ever since. But Ben’s exit did not lead to his portrayer’s exit.
Days of Our Lives brought Robert Scott Wilson back to soap in an entirely new character – Alex Kiriakis! Honestly, it is one of the best decisions the soap has made in recent years. Robert is an absolute delight to watch on the screen, and his portrayal of Alex has been rather enjoyable. We saw him involved in the first-ever threesome of Daytime, and it was hit as hell!
Currently, he is embroiled in some relationship drama with Johny, Chanel, and Joy! But what’s coming for the actor in 2025 on the soap? In a recent chat with the media, Robert spilled some tea about the future! The actor pointed that the character has had a busy year tackling various romantic upheavals, and then there was also the succession battle with Xander.
For 2025, Robert hopes that Alex finds the chance to head Titan. He even teased the possibility of Alex thinking about get married and having kids. The actor even addressed the possibility of Ben popping up again in Salem. Even though we haven’t seen him in a while, Robert believes that anything is possible. “. I love Ben, and he made such a big splash. I would not say no to reprising the role,” he stated.
However, Robert also admitted that he loves playing Alex now, and he absolutely loves filming with all the actors who play his immediate family on the soap. “I am grateful to have different shoes to fill now. I really enjoy playing Alex.” So, it seems that for the foreseeable future, Ben will remain off the canvas, and Robert will continue to play Alex.
Well, we aren’t complaining. While we do miss Ben, Alex is an absolute treat to watch! However, we will still hold on to the possibility that Ben will return to Salem one day. Even if it is just for a few episodes.
