Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Joy Ends Up Pregnant – Fakes Relationship With Alex to Cover One-Nighter With Johnny?
Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers hint that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) has become pretty chummy with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
So much so, she recently confided in him about her one-night stand with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Alex was stunned and outraged; however, Joy tried to explain Johnny’s mindset.
He believed that his wife Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) was having an affair with Alex, and there’s no better revenge in the land of Salem than hopping into bed with a stranger to get back at your spouse.
Thankfully, Chanel and Alex weren’t sleeping together, and it was a big misunderstanding, which is why Johnny and Joy are so desperate to keep their one-night stand, hush-hush.
In the mix of this all, is Johnny’s rich and powerful father, EJ DiMEra (Dan Feuerriegel), who is trying to drive Joy out of town, since she not only poses a risk of having his son’s infidelity exposed but is also a constant reminder of the terrible thing Johnny did.
It looks like Joy won’t be leaving Salem, as Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) could put a stop to this, and it’s hard to know if she’ll be filled in on the reason why EJ is willing to pay out the young actress’s contract and have her leave town.
It’s been some weeks since Joy and Johnny’s fling, so fans can’t help but think that an unexpected pregnancy is on the horizon.
While Joy should know by now if she’s pregnant or not, timelines aren’t really a “thing” in soaps. Plus, being so young and single, she may not notice the tell-tale signs she’s expecting.
Joy would likely keep the baby, but how would she be able to keep the secret of her child’s true paternity?
Would Alex step in to help? Could the two fake a relationship together?
Its clear Joy has some attraction, so as the two play pretend parents, could they catch feelings for each other?
Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) also has picked up on Joy and Alex’s ‘friendship’ and seems to think it has a romantic undertone to it.
Her nose seemed a little out of joint until Alex assured her, they were just friends.
But what would happen if Alex and Joy had to fake a romance, and having a child together?
This would definitely cause Stephanie to run to the hills and far away from Alex.
All arrows are pointing toward her having a reunion with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), so could Joy’s baby news be the thing that nudges Stephanie toward her ex-fiancé?

Still, even despite their best efforts, if Joy and Alex fake a relationship to keep her baby’s real daddy a secret, the entire scheme will eventually blow up in their faces.
