Mama June Fans Question If Cheating Played A Part In The Divorce
Although Pumpkin Shannon was a bit of a wild child, fans loved that she built a family with Josh Efird. During their marriage, they welcomed four children together.
Now, fans have no shortage of questions about the breakup.
“Pumpkin cheated with tattoo artist?” a Redditor shared online. “I’m in a Mama June group and I have seen several posts about Pumpkin cheating on Josh. I saw one where they said it was a tattoo artist, does anyone know anything about why? The divorce is real because it’s public record.”
The OP attached a screenshot of the court filing. In the image, there is a visible filing between Lauryn Efird and Joshua Efird on August 1, 2024. The case type is listed as a divorce.
No one really seemed to have any sort of insight into the Efirds’ marriage. However, Redditors had a wide range of opinions.
“If so what an idiot. She had a man who put up with her family. She won’t find that again,” one Reddit user wrote.
“I believe that the divorce/annulment is real, but it’s hard to say why she filed. It could be for tax purposes, one of them having legal trouble, etc. This whole family is a bunch of grifters so it would not surprise me at all if this was 100% a financial decision,” another wrote.
Other Reddit users wrote that no one except for Pumpkin and Josh can truly know what happened. It’s certainly a difficult situation and Mama June fans hope they can put their children first.
