The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Wednesday, April 17 Luna Ignores Poppy’s Warning Liam & Hope Strike Sheila Deal

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 17, reveals that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) warned Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) not to say Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) name and ranted about his cousin’s betrayal.

Zende assured RJ that he didn’t take advantage of Luna and tried to explain, but RJ didn’t want to hear his excuses. As RJ’s anger escalated, Zende told him that he was so sorry.

RJ raged over Zende and Luna keeping this secret behind his back, but Zende insisted Luna was the sweetest person and didn’t want to lose RJ.

At the beach house, Luna gave Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) updates on RJ’s furious reaction and how he accused Zende of taking advantage of her.

Although Luna tried to defend Zende, she worried since RJ ran out of there so fast and was presumably going to confront his cousin.

Poppy offered to talk to RJ and try to make things right, but Luna feared RJ was never going to speak to her again and decided she needed to talk to him right away.

Despite Poppy’s warning that Luna could upset RJ even more if she interrupted his confrontation with Zende, Luna had to take that chance.

Soon after, Luna barged in the design office with Poppy not far behind.

After Luna said she didn’t want to come between RJ and Zende’s relationship, Poppy noticed Zende’s face had taken a hit.

After Poppy tried to take the blame for everything, Zende insisted RJ couldn’t blame Luna and urged RJ to see how much she loved him.

Zende pushed RJ to tell Luna that he forgave her, but RJ still looked upset and didn’t respond.

Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) laughed as they texted each other photo disasters from their recent zoo trip with Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza).

Hope said it was good having the three of them together, but she quickly added that Beth missed Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) – and she missed Grandpa Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), too.

Liam asked where things stood with Deacon now that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) wasn’t around, so Hope suggested that Sheila’s demise brought a chance to start over.

Although Hope hated shutting Deacon out before, she didn’t want to put Beth at risk. Liam was grateful for that and guessed that Sheila must’ve filled some void for Deacon.

Hope acknowledged that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was the one who got away and that she’d rejected Deacon, so she suggested maybe that had something to do with Deacon latching onto Sheila.

After Liam cracked a joke about Sheila being six feet under and far below Brooke’s league, Hope wished that her dad would move on.

Hope eventually decided it was a waste of time talking about Sheila since she wouldn’t be an issue in their lives anymore.

Liam and Hope struck a deal to never speak of Sheila again, so they shook on it and zipped their lips.

When John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) showed up for takeout at Il Giardino, he asked if Deacon had finally accepted that Sheila was gone.

After it became clear that Deacon was still stuck on the possibility of Sheila’s survival, Finn once again pushed him to see that he must’ve imagined the 10 toes.

Deacon admitted he was even more convinced of what he saw at the crematorium and put the 10-toed situation aside for a moment.

That led to Deacon asking if Finn ever remembered Sheila talking about someone named Sugar (Kimberlin Brown).

Finn felt he’d remember a name like that if he heard it and eventually suggested it sounded like a dog’s name.

Deacon talked about Sheila sneaking off to meet someone from her past shortly before all the cliff house drama.

Now Deacon had found this tense text exchange between Sheila and Sugar, so he was suspicious.

Finn insisted it didn’t matter since Sheila was deceased, but Deacon urged him to admit some part of him wished Sheila was still alive.

However, Finn argued that his feelings didn’t matter either since there was no changing Sheila’s outcome.

After Finn pushed Deacon to get on with his life and left the restaurant, Deacon continued to mull over whether Sheila might still be out there somewhere.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon will seek more news on Sugar as he tries to follow Sheila’s trail, so stick with us for predictions on the next chapter of the story.
