Sister Wives star Kody Brown remains under a microscope with fans as the new season of his TLC series draws near. While his bedroom schedule came to a screeching halt several seasons ago, today new light is shed on the foundation it was built on. It seems another party emerged with insights on Kody Brown, Robyn Brown, and the days the man with the ringlets spent wrapped up in a polygamous marriage.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown’s Rotation – Explanation Emerges?
When Kody Brown’s family was intact, they did many interviews together. The four wives often said that the most asked question was about the bedroom schedule. In Meri Brown‘s recent real-time interview, she brought up the “rotation,” which is a word she doesn’t like to use.
During one season of Sister Wives, fans got excited when it looked like a copy of Kody’s bedroom schedule hung on the wall at Christine Brown‘s house. But not long after that, fans learned the schedule imploded. Kody pretty much remained stationary in one wife’s bedroom at night.
Sister Wives fans finally discovered the severity of the problem in later seasons when the wives finally opened up. As each jumped off Kody’s sinking ship, they mentioned how unfair he was with his time. But, according to another extended family member, there’s a rule in polygamy regarding activities in the bedroom.
Relative Lurks in the Shadows
Kody Brown’s nephew, Ben Brown, suddenly emerged from the shadows with his thoughts on Uncle Kody and his Sister Wives series. Ben is the son of Kody’s brother, and he’s a standup comedian based in Utah. He is a survivor of an unpleasant polygamy upbringing. But today he uses his experience in his comedy act.
Ben embarks on a mission to watch the Sister Wives show and offer commentary on what he sees. So far, Sister Wives fans find him refreshing. They also urge him to continue with his plan because they enjoy his take on the reality show. His take on Kody courting Robyn was hysterical. Fans also comment on the uncanny resemblance of Ben to his uncle, seen in the side-by-side photos below.
When watching the first episode of Sister Wives, Ben didn’t see his uncle courting a perspective fourth wive. Instead, he saw a polygamous husband trying to integrate his “mistress” into the family. But he’s also said some things about polygamy during his comedy act that make sense. While he didn’t mention Kody in this set, he explained the lovemaking aspect of a polygamous man.
Sister Wives Damage Control: Kody Could Use Rule of Polygamy Excuse…
Ben Brown explained that the church has rules around a polygamous man. One of those rules deals with the shared husband doing the deed with his wives. A husband can make love for one reason only – procreation. There’s no lust involved, it’s strictly down to business and over. Ben explained if lust seeps in, and you enjoy it, then the devil is within you.
Again, this was part of his adult comedy act, so the f-word was sprinkled throughout his unique explanation of bedtime activity among polygamists. But Ben cites the church’s rule on polygamy as only allowing lovemaking for spawning children. No fun is involved, it is not allowed.
Kody is about to debut Sister Wives Season 19. But he’s in a less-than-stellar place with fans. So, he could dig down deep and pull this rule out as part of his damage control. Well, he could, but getting fans of his TLC series to believe it is another problem. Still, pointing to that loophole, he could make it look like the only reason his bedroom schedule made an abrupt stop at Robyn Brown’s house was to honor this rule regarding reproduction purposes. After all, she did give him his two youngest children.
