Double Standards in Love: Tigerlily’s Heart-Wrenching Confession of Feeling Betrayed by Adnan – An Emotional Sentence of Heartbreak!
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days released episode 6 on October 6, 2024, at 8 pm ET/PT on TLC. Season 7 features individuals who have married their spouses from a different country and get 90 days to adjust to the new surroundings and secure a permanent visa to live happily ever after.
The latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days saw the couples struggling to cope with new challenges that come with a new partner. 41-year-old Tigelily struggled to come to terms with living in Jordan and various rules after her marriage to 22-year-old Adnan.
A conflict between the newly married couple started when Adnan and Tigerlily planned a day out with Adnan’s older brother Thaer, and Tigelily’s hairstylist Cruz and aesthetician Shay. When greeting each other, Adnan shook Shay’s hand which irked Tigerlily, as Adnan had previously asked her to not touch while greeting other men.
In a confessional, she expressed feeling betrayed by her husband as it was a “double standard” to apply the rules for her and not for him. Sat sulking in the car, Thaer asked why she felt upset with Adnan’s comments on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Tigerlily argued that if she did the same, Adnan would oppose it even if it was a family member.
Flabbergasted by the argument that Adnan made, Tigerlily pointed out that in the wedding even his uncles didn’t touch her, so his husband should apply the same when talking with other women.
“These are your rules, these aren’t my rules. This is your thing,” stated Tigerlily.
Adnan expressed that Tigerlily’s behavior made him “angry” and “stressful” and didn’t like his wife acting out like that. To Tigelily’s dismay, he also stated that they could fix it but without the face she was making. This irked Tigelily even further as she took it as an insult that something was wrong with her face.
In a confessional on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Adnan stated that women in Jordan act according to their husbands and as per Islam, which he expected Tigerlily to do. Shay tried to clarify that she did not want any drama through that handshake and instinctively did so.

As Tigerlily and Adnan try to figure out more details about each other and how they behave in certain situations, earlier in the episode, Adnan gets annoyed by Tigerlily. Because even after 3 hours, Tigerlily hadn’t come out from the salon. With Thaer in the passenger seat, Adnan’s brother said that the situation was ridiculous and that he should deal with it as a man.
Tigerlily finally came out as Adnan asked his brother to “shut up” on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Adnan decided to confront Tigerlily about the situation.
Tigerlily pointed out that he was a guy and compared to him, she would take a longer time to get ready. As the argument kept going on, Thaer chimed in and told Lily that her dress was not appropriate for Jordan.
Adnan stopped him mid-sentence and told his older brother that it was his business and he would sort it out. Tigerlily later brought up the conversation in her confessional and expressed her disbelief in Thaer pointing out what should she wear.
Back in the car, seeing the brothers argue about the situation, made Tigerlily ask Adnan why couldn’t she wear a revealing dress when Adnan had his shirt unbuttoned to his belly button.
Shay and Cruz also chimed in during their confessionals that Tigerlily was correct in questioning Adnan’s rules as they were “getting ridiculous.” They also later acknowledged that since they both are married now, it is too late to let go and the only solution left would be to figure it out between them.
