Statler Riley often uses her Instagram to slam many 90 Day Fiance stars she disagrees with. Viewers often condone this behavior, wondering why she spreads such negativity merely because she has a different opinion than theirs. She did something similar this time around. She had once made a post suggesting an idea for a spin-off called 90 Day Guest House. It would be similar to Big Brother, but instead of people getting eliminated, they’d get substituted with new castmates.
In the comments section, Statler began to say how TLC stole “her idea” after seeing a bunch of castmates hanging out in a hot tub together. Well, Armando decided to set the record straight. He responded to her by saying the creative directors behind their franchise were already 2 steps ahead of them because they had conceptualized this idea even before she became a part of the show. Armando also mentioned many people all over the internet have suggested this idea.
Hence, Statler should stop taking credit for even the basics of things. Well, she didn’t hold back, and instead of responding to his befitting reply with facts, she asked him to stop publicly embarrassing and humiliating her. The 90 Day Fiance star stooped very low by saying Armando gets away with things as he is America’s sweetheart in the eyes of fans because of his “sob story” as the first gay man on the show.

Armando calmly asked Statler to keep it real and humble herself. He mentioned how she, too, used her “sob story” on 90 Day Fiance. He didn’t understand why she was back on the show for another season if she was “badmouthing” it so much. Tons of viewers agreed with Armando and called out Statler for being immature.
Many fans took offense as Statler said Armando showcased his “sob story.” They said losing his wife to an accident wasn’t a sob story but a very heartbreaking tragedy. Some have even claimed not being able to stand her so much that they will skip through her and Dempsey’s segments in the upcoming The Other Way spin-off.
