Kalani from California was married to Samoan man Asuelu Pulaa since 2017, after having lost her virginity to him during a vacation. Kalani revealed that Asuelu had been unfaithful from the start and cheated on her over a dozen times throughout their marriage. Kalani began dating Dallas Nuez after Asuelu asked her to go kiss another man. Kalani and Dallas had their first baby together in June 2024 but no one knew she was pregnant.

Kalani had flown to New York to film it along with the other cast members. Regardless, Kalani told Dallas about her being pregnant when they were at their hotel in New York. Filming while being newly pregnant was “hard” for Kalani. She was feeling “super nauseous” and trying to hide it but in the end, she did a good job.
