The Young and the Restless Tuesday, January 28 Recap: Ian Snatches Weapon as Victor Demands Confession
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 28, reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will head to the cottage, where he’ll get confirmation from Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) are missing.
Although Nick will hope maybe Tessa just took off with Aria after her fight with Mariah earlier, Mariah won’t think Tessa would make her worry – especially after what happened with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Plus, Aria’s favorite stuffed animal was still at home, so Mariah will know Tessa wouldn’t have taken Aria without it.
Mariah will feel certain that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) was behind Tessa and Aria’s kidnapping, so Nick will concede that she’s probably right.
Nevertheless, Sharon and Nick will do their best to calm Mariah down before Nick heads back to the main house with the latest news.
Later, Mariah will leave Tessa a tearful voicemail and reflect on not ending Ian when she had the chance.
When Sharon approaches Mariah to offer more comfort, Mariah will declare that she wants Ian obliterated and wiped from the face of this earth.
At Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) place, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will brainstorm new career possibilities with him.
Billy will think he’d like to do something media-related and will suggest going up against Newman Media would just be a bonus.
Sally will like the new-and-improved Billy now that he’s no longer fixated on Chancellor and revenge.
After Billy and Sally hit the sheets, he’ll text Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) in hopes of talking since he’s got a lot to say.
At Ian’s motel room, he’ll bring a rose for Jordan (Colleen Zenk) as he enters with a plan to kiss and make up.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will inform Ian that Jordan took her own life, but Ian will play dumb about knowing her.
After Michael says Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) demands Ian’s immediate presence, Ian will try to send Michael away.
However, Victor’s armed security guy will show up on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, so Ian will be forced to relent.
At the ranch, Ian will be brought in and plopped down in a chair in front of Victor.
After Victor pushes for Ian’s last confession, Ian will act like he’s got nothing to confess.
Victor will push Ian to cooperate or meet his maker!
Michael will eventually bring out a typed confession for Ian to sign that takes responsibility for killing Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and clears Sharon.
Ian will insist he doesn’t have to sign it and remind Victor that he already sent a letter to the GCPD – one that points the finger at the Newmans if anything happens to him.
Michael will ultimately hint that they used their Newman connections to make that go away.
Ian will continue to deny his partnership with Jordan and will refuse to accept any blame in what happened to Heather or Sharon.
That’ll lead to Victor suggesting there’s no reason to keep Ian alive, but Nick will appear and admit that’s not true.
Nick will offer updates on Tessa and Aria going missing, so he’ll demand answers about where Ian stashed them.
When Ian denies any involvement, Nick will threaten bodily harm and continue barking at him for answers.
After Victor’s security guy yanks Ian up, he’ll lose the upper hand when Ian snatches the gun from under his jacket.
Ian will point the weapon he’s now in possession of and suggest it looks like he’s about to have something to confess to.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ian and Victor’s faceoff will come with some fireworks, so we’ll pass along more predictions on all the twists and turns.
