General Hospital Spoilers: Did Laura Wright Hint Carly & Brennan Are Having a Baby?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) fans were puzzled and even excited after a social media post left them asking: Did Laura Wright hint that Carly & Brennan are having a baby?

The trouble started with Wright’s message on X, formerly known as Twitter, where she addressed the whole Brennan recast situation.

Now that Charles Mesure has departed the role of Jack Brennan, Wright wanted to send him some love.

Wright also extended a warm welcome to Chris McKenna now that he’s taken over the part.

Wright even expressed her gratitude to the fans – no doubt in hopes that they’ll stay along for the ride and continue to support her latest on-screen pairing.

However, it’s what Wright included at the end of her post that raised questions and stirred up some controversy.

Here are Wright’s comments along with the surprising hashtag that really got fans talking.

“Big love to Charles !!! And a Big Welcome to Chris McKenna !!!! And a Big hug to all the fans – we love you so much and we are so grateful for you all !!!!! #GHBaby !!!”

Once Laura Wright shared her message, a fan piped up in the replies and wondered if this meant Carly and Brennan would be having a baby.

Although that GH viewer thought it’d be an interesting development, Wright was quick to shut down the idea.

“Omg no !!!! Haaaa,” Wright said in response.

Of course, if you follow Wright on social media, you know that “#GHBaby” is a pretty common thing for her to include in her posts. It’s just an expression to show Wright’s excitement over what’s coming up and nothing more.

There’s no indication that Carly will be having a baby with Brennan or anyone else for that matter!

Back when Carly found out she was pregnant with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), the news came as a shock.

Carly assumed she’d reached an age where it was no longer possible, so Donna was quite a surprise.

At this point, it seems safe to say Carly’s childbearing years are behind her, so our predictions suggest Donna was the last baby she’ll ever give birth to.

That said, there’s still a lot to look forward to when it comes to Carly and Brennan’s romance, so we’ll bring you updates on their future together.

Chris McKenna’s version of the character will be an adjustment, but at least Brennan is sticking around in some form.
