The Bold and the Beautiful Monday, January 27 Recap: Li Stuns Finn with 2 Paternity Tests – Sheila’s Grandma Complaint

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, January 27, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) found Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) crying in her office, so she came clean about believing Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) had an affair with Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and letting it poison her against Poppy for years.

After Li mentioned that Poppy moved in with them around the time Finn was starting college or finishing high school, she admitted she thought Poppy was a backstabber and just found out she was wrong.

Li confessed that she used Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) liver to run a paternity test that proved Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) wasn’t his daughter – and then another paternity test revealed she wasn’t Jack’s daughter either.

Although Li felt guilty for her accusations, she said she was working constantly and didn’t know what was really happening at home.

Li was uncertain of whether Jack and Poppy could forgive her for thinking the worst, but she eventually shifted gears and brought up Luna’s paternity mystery.

After Li suggested they may never get answers about Luna’s bio dad, she pointed out that man had to exist somewhere.

As Li wondered aloud who Luna’s father was, Finn stood there looking pensive.

At the Forrester mansion, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) talked to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) about Finn’s parents.

Although Taylor suggested they should “never say never” on a reunion, Steffy didn’t see how Li could ever get over Jack’s mistakes when it came to Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown).

Once Steffy and Finn’s imminent anniversary came up, Steffy suggested they’d celebrate at home and was looking forward to spending time with her husband.

At Il Giardino on Monday’s B&B episode, Jack gulped down a drink and spoke with Poppy about the turmoil they’d just endured in Li’s office.

Sheila eventually interrupted, but Jack made it clear that they were having a private conversation.

Sheila seemed hopeful that Finn might be coming, but Jack shut down that idea.

As Sheila ranted about Jack manipulating her into giving Finn up as a baby, she wondered if she was just supposed to give up being a grandmother now, too.

Sheila hinted that Jack’s plan to save his marriage didn’t work out very well in the end. Once Sheila said to give her best to Li, she sauntered off.

Jack and Poppy returned to the topic of Li’s long-held resentment and all the pain it had brought her.

Although Jack was glad the truth was finally out, Poppy had a nervous expression like she was still hiding something.
