Get ready for a week in which the shocks come fast and furious on General Hospital. But even as truths are revealed and questions are answered, they wind up raising more questions for those trying to comprehend how these developments will impact their lives!
Perhaps the biggest development on display in the new promo, which you can see in its entirety below, is Alexis finally being told what we’ve known for weeks. Summoned to a meeting with Portia, Alexis and Molly are told by the co-chief-of-staff that there was more to Sam’s death than anyone knows. Shocked, Alexis can only reel as the words spoken by Portia sink in.
“Someone murdered my daughter?” the still-grieving mother says, the words clearly still bouncing around in her head as she tries to comprehend not only this stunning bit of information, but the implications. Obviously, her first question will be “Who?” And when Portia is unable to give her a name, we suspect Alexis — a whirling dervish of a woman under the best circumstances — will become determined to find the guilty party. Will this at long last lead to the unmasking of Cyrus… or could there be an even bigger shock coming down the road?
Elsewhere, Chase gets the results of the medical tests which could determine whether he is able to make Brook Lynn’s dream come true by fathering a child with her. But when he hands the tests to Willow, the look on her face might best be described as “concerned.” We, too, are concerned, but for an entirely different reason: Willow and Chase see to be spending a little too much time together of late, especially with her husband off in another country recovering from the burns he sustained in that fire!
Let’s not forget that at one point, Chase and Willow were married. And while she was in it mostly as an act of compassion, Chase was very much besotted with his then-wife. (Making things even more complicated? That bundle of joy being carried by Sasha, which just happens to be Michael’s baby!)
Elsewhere, Laura has a perhaps overdue conversation with daughter Lulu, trying to determine if she’s still in love with Dante! (Anyone who’s seen the two of them together knows the answer, but let’s just see what Lulu says!)
